The History of CETT
Current and Past Projects

The Center for Educational and Training Technology (CETT) has been working with educational institutions of various types for nearly 20 years.  For K-12 schools, we have hosted professional development opportunities, offered teacher training workshops and developed websites and educational resources to assist teachers in various subjects.  For higher education, we have partnered and contracted with colleges and universities from around the country to develop online courses, websites and interactive media.

Our primary focus is developing online courses and workshops.  Many institutions want to expand their online educational offerings, but do not have the capabilities to create courses that will fully integrate with their institution’s Learning Management System.  CETT helps clients by taking their raw content and developing fully-interactive, rich content that can be easily implemented.

We have the capabilities to provide material in pure HTML5.0 format for complete capability with mobile devices that can be delivered in the popular LMS’s currently used by educational institutions, including Blackboard, Moodle, eCollege and Joomla to name a few.

Sample Instructional Strategies 2010 Mississippi Science Framework Grades 5, 8, and Biology I

The Center for Educational and Training Technology, in partnership with Mississippi teachers, offers these sample instructional strategies to aid science teachers in 5th, 8th, and Biology I in planning their instructional strategies using the 2010 Mississippi Science Framework.

Created by Mississippi science teachers, based on their classroom experience and understanding of the content objectives, these strategies are designed to give science teachers ideas for addressing the framework objectives. They are not meant to supersede your textbook, pacing guides, or other resources nor to be the only strategy or strategies for teaching the objectives. The strategies are available for teachers to adapt or incorporate into units of instruction as needed.
